T.J.
Sheppard
T.J's passion for racing developed at a
young age. His fascination with race cars began at Checker Flag Raceway in
Windsor, Ont. It was only a matter of time until T.J started building his own
race cars.
T.J started his career at ten, racing and
winning at various Go Cart tracks around North America. At 18 he built and
successfully raced an ARMA Modified at Buxton Raceway.
It wasn't long after T.J entered the world of
professional racing that A.P Performance Racing discovered him and he started
working for the young driver, Alan Pinnsenault. He changed rear tires as well as
worked on building and maintaining the car. When the #39 car of Pinnsenault
started racing the ASA circuit, T.J was quickly noticed for his dedication and
talent by fellow A.P team member and ASA champion, Tim Sauter. When Sauter
and A.P Performance moved to North Carolina to race in the Nascar Busch Series,
T.J went with them. He found success with Sauter and later with Andy
Petree's Winston Cup team with driver Joe Nemechek.
T.J has fufilled his life long dream
to build and race his own race car. He is ready and determined to make his mark
as a rookie in the 2002 Cascar Open Wheel Modified season at
Delaware
T.J was born on February 14,1977 to Vic and Carol
Sheppard. He is uncle to four neices and thanks his family for all their
support.
